For Students
Looking after your wellbeing can help you feel happier, healthier and more able to manage the ups and downs of everyday life. Wellbeing is about more than just how you feel — it includes looking after your physical health, relationships, sleep, routines and the things that help you enjoy life.
On this page, you will find useful information, advice and links to resources that can help you develop healthy habits and support your overall wellbeing.
Small, positive changes can make a difference. You may find resources here to help you with:
Healthy routines – developing routines that support your physical and emotional wellbeing.
Sleep – understanding the importance of sleep and finding ways to improve your sleep habits.
Physical health and activity – ideas for staying active and looking after your body.
Healthy eating – information and guidance to support healthy choices.
Friendships and relationships – building positive relationships and dealing with challenges.
Managing stress – practical ideas for coping with schoolwork, exams and everyday pressures.
Confidence and self-esteem – developing a positive view of yourself and recognising your strengths.
Digital wellbeing – finding a healthy balance when using phones, social media, gaming and other technology.
Relaxation and mindfulness – simple techniques to help you pause, reset and manage everyday pressures.
Everyone's wellbeing looks different, and there may be times when you need a little extra support. If something is worrying you or affecting your day-to-day life, talking to someone can help.
You can speak to a parent or carer, friend, teacher, tutor, pastoral staff member or another trusted adult. You can also speak to a member of the school's support team, who can help you find the right support.
Take a look through the resources below and find the information that is most useful to you.
Remember, looking after your wellbeing is something we all need to do — and asking for support is always okay.
