For Parents & Carers

Support

We recognise that being a parent or carer can be rewarding, but that there may also be times when families need some extra help and support. Whether you are experiencing financial difficulties, facing challenges at home, or have concerns about your own or your child's wellbeing, support is available.

Our school is committed to working in partnership with parents and carers and to helping families access the right advice, guidance and practical support when it is needed.

Through our Learning Support Unit, we can help parents and carers access information and support in the following areas:

  • Financial Support – information and guidance for families experiencing financial pressures, including help to identify available financial assistance and other practical support.

  • Family and Parenting Support – advice and guidance around family life, parenting challenges and relationships, as well as signposting to appropriate services and organisations.

  • Mental Health and Wellbeing Support – support for parents, carers and children who may be experiencing emotional or mental health difficulties, with guidance on accessing further help where appropriate.

You do not need to wait until a situation becomes difficult before asking for support. If you are unsure about where to turn, we are happy to listen and help you identify the most appropriate source of advice or support.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss the support available, please contact the Learning Support Unit in the first instance. Our team will be happy to listen, offer guidance and help connect you with the support that is right for your family.
